Introducing Leiper's Fork Distillery
Meet our Vendors!
This month, we are so excited to introduce you to Leiper's Fork Distillery! Not only do we use their sour mash in our sourdough bread, but they also sell our bread at the Distillery!
This one-of-a-kind distillery opened in 2016 but stays true to age-old whiskey crafting techniques. Their mission is to bring back the history and heritage of small-batch whiskey production to Williamson County. If you didn't know, Middle Tennessee has a rich history of distilling whiskey!
It's true! The property where Leiper's Fork Distillery is located was originally owned by Colonel Henry Hunter, who ran a small distillery on Old Highway 96. Because of this, it is their pledge to their distilling forefathers and patrons to pour their heart and soul into every drop of whiskey they make from grain to glass. As they craft premium spirits using local ingredients and limestone-filtered water, Leiper’s Fork Distillery creates a superior product with a signature taste.
We love having Leiper's Fork Distillery as another, very valued, vendor at the Franklin Bakehouse!!
